why adsorption?
The goal of construction drying should always be to restore the natural moisture balance of a building.
This can be achieved when the drying air has a relative humidity (RH) that matches or is slightly below the normal moisture
level of the space. Ideally, the drying air should be 10% below this level to maximize drying performance.
The table shows typical climate data and the corresponding recommended indoor target values.
In winter, a relative humidity of 40% RH should be aimed for, while in summer, 45–50% RH is recommended.
The most effective and sustainable way to achieve these conditions is through adsorption drying.
