Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.

The whole team at Cotes …

2017 has been a consistently good year for Cotes – we’ve reached all our growth targets, we’re successfully streamlining operations, we’re winning high-profile innovation awards and our customers are saying good things!

The Cotes team (in Slagelse and Aarhus in Denmark, and in Szczecin in Poland) has been growing steadily. We recently managed to gather everybody in one place at one time (a rare event!) and there’s photographic evidence that there are now even more of us!

We’d like to thank all our customers, working partners and suppliers for all the business we’ve done together in 2017, and look forward to continuing, improving and growing together in 2018.

And to mark the festive season rapidly approaching we’d like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.

Results add up – a dry year

Here at Cotes, we have a built-in tendency to focus on the results our dehumidification systems provide for our customers, rather than just blowing our own trumpet. So we crunched some of the Christmas-time numbers …

The dehumidifiers we’ve sold over the course of 2017 have a total overall moisture removal capacity of  around 10,500 kg/hour – and there are a lot of hours in a whole year.

Our tech experts always insist we clearly explain the assumptions behind our calculations, so we’ll do that here, too.

If we reckon – solely for the sake of argument, of course – that sales were evenly distributed throughout 2017 and that our customers’ dehumidifiers run 24/7, that’d add up to removing about 46,000,000 kg of troublesome moisture from the air in and around our customers’ operations, installations and activities.

Making a difference

All this moisture corresponds to filling 1,210 20-foot containers or 27 Olympic swimming pools. No one will miss all this airborne moisture – but everyone concerned will benefit from it not being there.

We build our dehumidifiers to help our customers make a practical difference by doing away all the problems this causes – and bringing it under control can make big differences to operations, profitability and environmental impacts.

Please note!

Cotes will be closed for Christmas holidays from 22 December to 2 January.
